What exactly makes this 2.5D?
I like the small details off the lighting. The shadows makes the illustration more alive.
This would make an awesome background, if it wasn't for the quality.

The shadows on those soldiers are... How should I put it? Odd?
Perhaps using some dithering techniques would help, but the whole artstyle relies on not using dithering.

I tried it with regular black shadows but it looked too black and then I tried to erase the shadows completely and that didnt look right either

I think i should try filling them in with a dark gray

i might be color blind because i dont see it- but this was the page that got messed up.

its reupdated but may take a while to show-

the page is offset and the bottom panel has some area that is not filled with black
